Blindfolded diners dig in to benefit visually impaired
Sightless dining raises awareness and funds.
Diners at Bacchus in Milwaukee were wearing blindfolds during an event dubbed "Dining in the Dark." The four-course meal, $250-per-person, was organized to benefit the Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Badger Association also raised awareness. Most of the participants struggled to find silverware and their way to mouths with a forkful of food. Two reporters were dispatched - one as a diner and the other as an observer.
